She is constantly nesting, whining, licking everything and has taken a doll as her ‘puppy’ that she will not leave alone. She is aggressive towards other dogs (which she has never been) and she frets if we leave her even for a minute (which she has never done). She has put on weight event though she is not eating and her teats are swollen. We don’t know whether we should console her as she really seems lost and as if she is grieving or if we should ignore the behavior which is really hard to do as it’s driving us crazy. Any help would be appreciated. I know there are great hormone balancing herbs for women so if anyone knows of a natural approach to helping dogs go through this also that would be great. She is unspayed and will be bred next time she is in season. Help!

I have an assignment due next week in class where I need to find something that is typically passed down in a Russian family or something that is big in Russian culture. I just need to print out pictures of the item, bring them in to class and talk about it for 2 min. I was thinking about Matryoshka dolls, but I’m not sure they are passed down. Any suggestions? My daughter loves her Barbies and dolls! The problem is that after a little while the hair starts to frizz and you can’t run a brush through it. It looks like a big nest of hair. Is there some secret to keeping Barbie’s (and other dolls) hair looking nice?

i have a pen-pal in Russia. and we have been chatting for quite sometime now. we have both wondered about each others cultures and countries so we decided to do a bit of an exchange. we are both going to send each other currency and a few items from our homelands. currently she is interested in getting a book about the Canadian natives before Canada was formed. this is an easy enough item.. though i am in search of something more.. i would like to show her what Canada is really like. so far she is sending me a matrioshka (Russian nesting doll)… and ushanka (Russian fur hat) . these items are very Russian… the only problem i am having is that Canada is such a mosaic of cultures… it is difficult to find what is actually Canadian. please help me out … price is not an obstacle… please note that i live in Alberta.. so it is difficult to get east coast things. and note that she doesn’t drink coffee… so Tim Hortons is out of the question…lol please give me some gift ideas thank you
