My best friend brought this back from Latvia for me a few years ago since she knows I love history and politics. It’s a very unique matryoshka doll, also known as a Russian nesting (or stacking) doll. I know the correct plural is matryoshki, but it was late when I filmed this and made a few blunders. Forgive me! Spasibo.

I want to make a set of nesting dolls for someone for Christmas, but I don’t know how I would go about making the wood part without cutting my fingers off. So can anyone tell me where I can get an unpainted nesting doll set?
