It's a Charlie Brown Christmas on this 5-piece nesting doll. Snoopy, dressed as Santa, rings in the cheer of the season along with his friends. Charlie Brown, Lucy, and Linus form a holiday chorus, while tiny Woodstock chirps beneath the famous Peanuts Christmas tree.

In case you don’t know whose talking, here’s the entire moose’s, Santa Claus’s, and cat’s lines: Moose: Hey man. Cat: What? Moose: Hey. Why are we standing on the edge of like, a cliff? Cat: I dunno. Do you know? Moose: Nope. Cat: Oh. Santa Claus: Ho ho ho! Merry christmas! Moose: What the heck? It’s not christmas. Santa: What? It’s not? (gasp) I got the date wrong! Oh no! What will Mrs. Claus think? Aaaah! Moose: Okay. That was rather strange. Cat: What? What? Oh! I wasn’t listening! I was taking a nap. Oops. I missed it! What happened? Moose: Um, well, Santa Claus came, and he got the date wrong of christmas. Cat: Oooooh! So, like, isn’t it thanksgiving? Moose: Uh huh. Cat: Ooooooh! Hey guess what! Moose: What? Cat: I, am a nesting doll. Moose: (gasp) Really? Me too. Watch. Cat: Watching. Narrator (sort of): A deer! Moose: Isn’t that so cool? Uh oh. My antler fell off. Cat: Your antler fell off? Moose: Mm-hm. Oh no! Both antlers fell off! What will we ever do? Deer: Let’s fall off a cliff! Weeeeeeeeeee! Moose: Okay. Weeeeeeeeeeee! Cat: Guys, wait for me! Weeeeeeee! Also, if you wanna know the reason why the video camera was shaking was because I don’t have a tri-pod.

I want to make a set of nesting dolls for someone for Christmas, but I don’t know how I would go about making the wood part without cutting my fingers off. So can anyone tell me where I can get an unpainted nesting doll set?

Thank you!

OK so we’ve been together for two and a half weeks now and our one month anniversary will be on Christmas and I’ve had this present idea in mind for a while. It’s a locket with a picture of her and her best mate (who lives in a different country PLUS she just found out she wasn’t allowed over there for xmas and won’t get to see her for a long while) and one of those Russian Matryoshka dolls.

I’m 16 she’s 17. I’m thinking of putting the locket inside the smallest doll so she finds it by opening ‘em up. I tend to worry a lot, and I’m just wondering if it might be a bit too early for so much. This will sorta count for the one month anniversairy present too I guess. This isn’t my first relationship, but I feel a lot more content with this than with any of my past ones. ANYWAY, ADVICE PLEASE =] You think this sounds like a good idea?

I found some at Claire’s and I bought one for one of my sisters as a Christmas gift and I want to buy some more for my mom, other sister, and my brother’s fiancee, but Claire’s doesn’t have a real good selection of these nesting dolls.

My aunt has a pair of wooden nesting dolls that she’d like her grand kids to be able to enjoy over Christmas.

While we can get them apart, we have to do so with considerable force – and we’re adults. We want the kids to be able to unscrew them their selves without too much pain or effort.

Is there anything we can use to lubricate them that won’t harm them?

for my aunt’s birthday i’m going to make her some nesting dolls (she collects them), but i want to make them with clay. so.. i have two questions:

1) how should i make them connect? should i just have the top sitting on the bottom half? will they fall over? do you think it’ll be okay, i mean, if she’s just going to have them on display? any ideas?

2) i was going to make her four sets, but i’m not sure if i want to go with a) spring, summer, autumn, and winter or b) easter, thanksgiving, halloween, and christmas. i was going to mix the two, but then i thought autumn would be hard, because she’d have halloween decoration out during thanksgiving and vice versa.. also, do you have any like, ideas for what i could put on them? (i.e. cobwebs and bats for halloween, red and green scarves for christmas, etc)

ANY advice is really appreciated. thank you!
