Type B episodes are triggered involuntarily by an external trigger, via one or more senses, and may also involve specific thought patterns associated with the triggering event. Both types of triggers vary between individuals, but many are common to a large portion of ASMR enjoyers. Common external triggers: Exposure to slow, accented, or unique speech patterns Viewing educational or instructive videos or lectures Experiencing a high empathetic or sympathetic reaction to an event Enjoying a piece of art or music Watching another person complete a task, often in a diligent, attentive manner – examples would be filling out a form, writing a check, going through a purse or bag, inspecting an item closely, etc. Close, personal attention from another person Haircuts, or other touch from another on head or back A matryoshka doll is a Russian nesting doll (Russian: Матрёшка) which is a set of wooden dolls of decreasing size placed one inside the …

In case you don’t know whose talking, here’s the entire moose’s, Santa Claus’s, and cat’s lines: Moose: Hey man. Cat: What? Moose: Hey. Why are we standing on the edge of like, a cliff? Cat: I dunno. Do you know? Moose: Nope. Cat: Oh. Santa Claus: Ho ho ho! Merry christmas! Moose: What the heck? It’s not christmas. Santa: What? It’s not? (gasp) I got the date wrong! Oh no! What will Mrs. Claus think? Aaaah! Moose: Okay. That was rather strange. Cat: What? What? Oh! I wasn’t listening! I was taking a nap. Oops. I missed it! What happened? Moose: Um, well, Santa Claus came, and he got the date wrong of christmas. Cat: Oooooh! So, like, isn’t it thanksgiving? Moose: Uh huh. Cat: Ooooooh! Hey guess what! Moose: What? Cat: I, am a nesting doll. Moose: (gasp) Really? Me too. Watch. Cat: Watching. Narrator (sort of): A deer! Moose: Isn’t that so cool? Uh oh. My antler fell off. Cat: Your antler fell off? Moose: Mm-hm. Oh no! Both antlers fell off! What will we ever do? Deer: Let’s fall off a cliff! Weeeeeeeeeee! Moose: Okay. Weeeeeeeeeeee! Cat: Guys, wait for me! Weeeeeeee! Also, if you wanna know the reason why the video camera was shaking was because I don’t have a tri-pod.
